Sachin Tendulkar to have a cameo in his biopic 'God Of Cricket'

Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is getting another biopic titled 'God Of

Cricket

'. Directed by Sudeesh Kandija, the film will have a cameo by Sachin himself. The makers announced the film on the cricketer's birthday itself.

It is still not known who will essay the role of Sachin on the silver screen. Quite a few

Bollywood

celebs took to social media to wish the makers all the best. FIlmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Madhur Bhandarkar conveyed their best wishes on Twitter.




Two years ago, another film based on the life of Sachin had released. It was titled 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams', which was directed by James Erskine. It was simultaneously shot in Hindi, Tamil Telugu and shed light on his cricket journey as well the personal life. 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' also brought the perspective of Sachin’s wife Anjali into play.
