Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ was set to hit the screens next month, but the Nitin Kakkar directorial has been delayed due to the lead actor’s other commitments. The family drama features
Tabu, debutant Alaia Furniturewalla in pivotal roles and was to release on November 29, but has been pushed to an undisclosed date in 2020. Sources state that the director wanted to shoot a promotional song for the film with Saif and it required him to don a particular look.
However, the actor has already started shooting for his next project and further he has a packed schedule, thus delaying the promotional song for ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’. The film explores a father-daughter relationship.
‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ is bankrolled by Saif Ali Khan’s production house Black Knight Films, Northern Lights Films and Pooja Entertainment. The team of ‘Jawaani Janneman’ shot for the film extensively in London.
Speaking about the film, co-producer
Jackky Bhagnani had told IANS, "A fresh script, a fresh cast and the coming together of a fresh team. So expect the unexpected. Without giving away much about the film, the only thing I will say is that if you have laughed, cried or enjoyed with your family, that's exactly what you will do with our film. Nitin sir, with his unique talent to say the best of the stories in the most relatable manner, has truly made a film that we are proud of. I hope the audience loves this film as much as we do."
