Saira Banu wishes PM Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday; recalls his 'kindness’ following Dilip Kumar's demise

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned a new leaf in life, as he celebrates his 75th birthday today. The respectable national leader has been receiving love and greetings from everywhere. Veteran Bollywood actress Saira Banu also took the opportunity to share a heartfelt note for PM Modi, in which she quoted his kindness and compassion.Taking to her social media handle, Saira Banu shared a picture from her meeting with the Prime Minister in 2023. Along with it, she wrote a long note, where she highlighted PM Modi’s kind gestures in the time of great despair, following Dilip Kumar’s demise. "A very Happy Birthday to our esteemed Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji. On this occasion, I want to recall the kindness and compassion he extended at a time of my greatest despair. When my beloved Dilip Sahib departed from this world, I was overcome with sorrow so profound that I could scarcely summon the will to endure. In that dark hour, his consoling voice reached me with words of such tenderness,” she shared in the caption. She recalled PM Modi saying, "Aap apne aap ko sambhaliye, aur ek baat jaan lijiye ki hum aapke parivaar hain.” According to Banu, these words revived her spirit when it was most near to faltering.She continued, "In the months that followed, there arose an occasion when Modi ji visited Mumbai, and it was orchestrated that we might meet; alas, my frail health prevented me from that opportunity."
