Salman Khan contributes to the #BharatKeVeer fund for the martyrs' families

On Thursday, at least 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel were killed in a terrorist attack in

Pulwama district

. A lot of Bollywood celebrities and cricketers had taken to their social media pages to offer condolences to the martyrs.

Salman Khan had shared on Thursday, "My heart goes out for the Jawans of our beloved country and their families who lost their lives as martyrs to save our families... #YouStandForIndia." The superstar also contributed to the families of the martyrs through his foundation. Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju took to his Twitter page to thank Salman Khan for the contribution.


Rijiju tweeted, "Thank you @BeingSalmanKhan on offering to contribute for Pulwama Martyrs through BEING HUMAN FOUNDATION. I'll work out for handing over of the cheques in the account of #BharatKeVeer @BharatKeVeer."
