Salman Khan, basking in the success of "Tiger 3," emphasized the potential of multi-starrers for achieving substantial box office returns. In a recent interview with Zoom, Salman discussed his decision to share the screen with other leading actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, in the YRF spy universe, marking a shift from a time when people were less inclined to watch his films.


Reflecting on his career, Salman recalled a period when audiences were not as drawn to his movies. To counter this, he opted to collaborate with established actors like Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, and others. According to Salman, this strategy significantly boosted box office collections.

Commenting on the camaraderie among movie stars in the 90s, Salman noted that the younger generation of actors might find it challenging to replicate such collaborations for reasons he described as "strange."

Regarding his collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan in the YRF spy universe, Salman expressed optimism about Aamir Khan joining the venture. He stated, "Here, I did work with Shah Rukh in Tiger 3, and if Aamir gets to do a spy-verse, he will also join in."

When questioned about the dynamic between him and Shah Rukh Khan being compared to the iconic Jai and Veeru, Salman chuckled and affirmed, "Yes, I am Veeru, and Shah Rukh is Jai."


As for the much-anticipated clash between "Tiger 3" and "Pathaan," Salman offered a concise response, stating, "Yes, that will happen very soon, Insha Allah."

"Tiger 3" has proven to be a major success, raking in Rs 249 crore at the domestic box office, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
