Salman Khan wishes 'Mother India' Salma Khan on her 83rd Birthday with adorable video - WATCH

ollywood superstar Salman Khan and his family got together to celebrate the 83rd birthday of 'Mother India', Salma Khan.

In a heartwarming and hilarious post, Salman wished the birthday girl with an endearing post that read, "Mummmmmyyyyy happy birthday… mother India, our world."

He accompanied the note with an adorable video that saw Salma dancing the night away with her son, Sohail Khan. The clip begins with the two slow jiving and then going on to hug it out while their guests capture the mother-son moment.



The celebration, held at Arpita Khan's newly launched restaurant in Mumbai, was a star-studded family affair. Salma enjoyed a special evening surrounded by her children, including Salman, Arbaaz, Alvira, and Arpita, and a bunch of their close family and friends.



Fitness coach and family friend Deanne Panday also shared glimpses from the celebration. Salma was seen cutting her birthday cake, surrounded by her daughters and family members. "Happy Birthday to Salma Aunty. You are like my mom too. Love you so much. Such a blast we’ve had today & always," Deanne wrote, adding her warm wishes.

Salman, who was in Dubai for his Dabangg tour, made caught a flight back home to join the celebrations.

This is the first time that the entire Khan family has come together to celebrate following the multiple death threats Salman received over the past months. The actor and his father, Salim Khan were subjected to several extortion and death threats from alleged members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

On the work front, Salman is currently shooting his next film 'Sikandar' which is slated for a 2025 release.
