Samantha Ruth Prabhu recalls 'strong medications' affecting her skin; reveals her non-invasive routine to maintain glowing skin

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is known to pour her heart out in lengthy Instagram posts. In 2022, the 'Family Man' actress had revealed diagnosis of Myositis, an autoimmune condition. She has also been regularly updating fans about her health.

On Sunday, Samantha took to social media to pen a skin appreciation post, revealing her journey of healthy skin. She shared a series of radiant pictures and revealed her routine. "Woke up feeling grateful for my skin and how well it has been behaving lately. I no longer need to quickly reach for concealer like I used to, and people have stopped asking me if I am tired. One of the most common questions I get now is: “How do you get that glow?” The truth is, I’ve been getting a lot of help with my skin. When I fell sick and had to go on strong medications, my skin was the first to suffer. Pigmentation, dryness, puffiness and other issues appeared out of nowhere, and nothing I used before worked anymore," shared the actress.

She further revealed, "I have however decided to take the non-invasive route to restore my skin’s health. I’ve been religiously doing Pico laser, Red light therapy, Facials, focused on lymphatic drainage. I’ve become a lot more skin-sensible and will never go back to taking my skin for granted. The biggest lesson I’ve learnt is that skin health isn’t just about beauty; it’s a vital part of our overall well-being." Samantha even inspired her followers to prioritize skin health over quick fixes and added, "the “secret” behind my skincare, no secret at all!"

On the work front, Samantha will soon be seen getting into action mode alongside Varun Dhawan in 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', which is all set to arrive on OTT in November.
