After the phenomenal success of the
John Abraham starrer ‘Satyameva Jayate’, director
Milap Zaveri announced late last year that he will be back with a sequel to the high-octane vigilante action drama.
Taking to his social media handle this afternoon, the director gave fans a lot to look forward to when he posted a picture of himself at the steps of a temple. “#SatyamevaJayate2 recce Day 1!” he captioned the post.
John Abraham, who played a vigilante who goes on a corrupt cop-killing spree in the original is pairing up with
Divya Khosla Kumar to bring ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’ to the big screen.
Milap, in a statement, revealed all that is set to unfold in this upcoming drama. He said, "'

Gandhi Jayanti we provide the audiences with a powerful entertainer that also gives a strong message against corruption.”
The makers have already released a set of character posters of the lead stars which has only made the wait for October 2, even longer.
The film is all set to clash with the
Vicky Kaushal starrer '
Sardar Udham Singh
'. Helmed by
Shoojit Sircar, the biopic based on the legendary freedom fighter is also set for an October 2 release.
