Shah Rukh Khan confesses he likes playing anti-heroes, reveals his bald look in Jawan was never a part of the script
Shah Rukh Khan has been receiving lots of love and appreciation for his negative role in the Atlee directorial Jawan which has crossed Rs 600 crore mark worldwide. While the movie continues to mint money at the box office, SRK joined IMDb for a quick Q&A and shared some interesting trivia related to Jawan.
When asked about playing anti-heroes in films, SRK said that he never wanted to play the hero. He added that just playing the good guy again and again and being nice, puppy-eyed, doe-eyed gets boring after sometime. He confessed that he personally likes playing the bad guy and he loves it. He also lauded the support of his girl gang which includes Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi.
Talking about his bald look in Jawan, the superstar said that the look was never a part of the script but rather it was a part of the getup that was part of the script. He revealed that he chose the bald look out of laziness as he didn't want to spend 2 hours in makeup.
He admitted that he had reservations about sporting the bald look because he had shown the promo to some of his friends and they told him that he looks scary and girls won't like him. "So, I hope girls like me, like bald men. I like bald girls," he added.
Explaining Jawan to his audience around the world, Shah Rukh said that there's a genre of filmmaking which exists in the south, which is louder, larger and bigger than life. He called it a rollercoaster ride of everything packed into two and a half hours. He added that it can be a little mind blowing or mind numbing or out-of-body experience for a global audience but it's a good, fun trip.
