Shahid Kapoor along with his wife Mira Rajput and his mother-in-law Bela Rajput on Saturday attended the star-studded wedding reception of Ruhaan Kapoor and Manukriti Pahwa in Mumbai. He looked joyful at the event, however, Shahid lost his cool on his way back.
After the celebration, Shahid was seen waiting outside the venue along with Mira and his mother-in-law. They were surrounded by a sea of paparazzi who apparently kept shouting while clicking their pictures.
Shahid didn't appreciate their behaviour and snapped back at them. He scolded them in a stern voice, 'Chilla kyu rahe ho. Kya ho jayega. Main yahin khada hoon na. Pagalon ki tarah kyu chilla rahe ho. Relax karo. Jab mai gadi me chala jaunga na tab chillana. Then it makes sense. Relax karo.'
Netizens extended their support to Shahid for schooling the paparazzi for their behaviour. "They r still laughing .. seriously! He is right his wife and mother in law is standing right there ,media must respect his space … clearly he is not liking it ! Well done shahid because the paparazzi’s in India definitely dont know how to behave and maintain a decorum," one Instagram user commented.
Another user wrote, "Well said. They are going on another level nowadays! Basically they're harassing celebrities. Someone should have taught them lessons."
On the work front, Shahid was last seen in Bloody Daddy, an action thriller film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivan Bhatena. It is an adaptation of the 2011 French film Sleepless Night, which had previously had an Indian remake (in the Tamil language) as Thoongaa Vanam (2015), starring Kamal Haasan.
