In a chat with Raj Shamani on his podcast, Shahid expressed his desire for his children to pursue careers other than acting. He acknowledged the inherent challenges and uncertainties associated with the entertainment industry, emphasizing the emotional and professional ups and downs that actors often experience. While he respects his children's individual choices, he personally hopes they will explore other avenues, considering the complexities and potential hardships of a career in acting.



Shahid further emphasized the importance of doing the right thing in parenting, regardless of personal consequences. He expressed his commitment to always prioritize doing what he believes is right for his children, even if it means facing challenges or facing disapproval from others.

Kapoor acknowledged that many people had encouraged him to explore this genre, and he embraced the challenge of this new endeavor.
