Celebrities correcting paparazzi for mispronouncing their names is a common occurrence in the entertainment industry. Recently, Aamir Khan received instructions from his daughter Ira Khan to ensure the correct pronunciation of her name. Now, Kriti Sanon faced a similar situation during the trailer launch event of her upcoming film, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ starring Shahid Kapoor.
During the event, Shahid playfully corrected the paparazzi on how to pronounce Kriti's name. In a shared online clip, Shahid humorously said, " Her name is ‘Kirti Sanon, not Kriti Senon". Suddenly Kriti started jokingly trying to hit him. Shahid then asked the photographers, "What is her name?" and received an incorrect response. In response, Kriti said that "They are already calling my name wrong, please do not entertain them.”
Shahid made the photographers repeat Kriti’s name two or three times. The chemistry between Shahid and Kriti was evident, giving a glimpse of their collaboration in this film.
‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya,’ directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, is being touted as a 'family entertainer' and is set to release in theaters on February 9. The film also features Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.
The storyline revolves around a love story between a human (Shahid) and a robot (Kriti). Kriti's character ‘Sifra’ is an acronym of ‘Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation’.
