Jackky Bhagnani and Rakul Preet Singh's wedding festivities have kick-started in Goa from February 19 onwards and the couple had their sangeet function yesterday. Rakul and Jackky will marry today in Goa. Reportedly, the pheras will take place at 3 30 pm at ITC Grand South Goa. There will be two wedding ceremonies, thus reflecting the cultures of both Rakul and Jackky.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra were set to perform at the sangeet and now a video of the couple dancing has gone viral. The couple can be seen dancing on the popular punjabi track, 'Mundiye Toh Bach Ke Rahi'. They can be seen wearing colour co-ordinated navy blue clothes and Shilpa looks gorgeous in an cut-out high slit dress.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, Ritieish Deshmukh and Bhumi Pednekar had hosted the sangeet function. Many of Shah Rukh Khan's songs like 'Gori Gori' from 'Main Hoon Na', 'Tumse Milke Dil Ka Jo Haal' were performed. There were also performances on 'Pehle Bhi Main' from Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal', 'Chaar Baj Gaye', 'Oo Antava', 'Kudmayi' among others. The celebrations went on till 4 am in the morning.
The couple has consciously planned their wedding to be eco-friendly with no wastage of paper and no fire crackers. The food is also designed keeping the health freaks in mind with a special menu for them, apart from the regular, lavish wedding food.
Rakul and Jackky will pose for the paparazzi after their wedding today. The couple will also have an after-party in Goa.
