Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra has joined the “What were you like in the 90s?” trend. On Thursday, the actress took to her social media handle to share a throwback video of herself enjoying a cruise, giving fans a glimpse of her nostalgic charm.In the clip, Shilpa added the line, “Mom what were you doing in the 90s,” while sharing snippets from her iconic 90s films such as Baazigar, Prithvi, and Insaaf. A memorable moment from Baazigar shows Shah Rukh Khan’s character pushing her off a rooftop. Captioning the reel, she wrote, “You didn’t see this coming… and won’t again. 90s nostalgia ‘hit’ different.” ‘Baazigar’ also featured Kajol in a leading role and was loosely based on the Hollywood thriller ‘A Kiss Before Dying’. The film revolves around a man seeking revenge on a businessman who destroyed his family, using manipulation and calculated violence to achieve his goal. It stood out for casting Shah Rukh Khan in a negative lead role early in his career, an unconventional move in mainstream Hindi cinema at the time. A major box-office hit, ‘Baazigar’ played a key role in SRK’s rise to stardom. Its music, composed by Anu Malik, was widely popular, and the film earned several accolades.A few months back, Shilpa paid a visit to the revered Mahalaxmi Temple in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. The actress shared a glimpse of her spiritual outing on social media, where she appeared in a radiant yellow saree, holding a floral offering plate inside the temple premises.
