Shruti Haasan REACTS to being called 'plastic surgery ki dukaan': 'The price you pay…'
Shruti Haasan never shies away from expressing her mind on any matter. And the same happened recently when she opened up about being called "plastic ki dukaan." The actress revealed how her being honest about the cosmetic procedures she did received backlash. Here's what the actress shared in a recent interview.
Expressing if such comments bother her, the actress added, "But I know what and how much I have done, and how much more others have. That’s the price you pay for honesty. It is okay. And I never promote it. This is my choice."
Shruti Haasan further added that whatever she has done, she didn't set any example for others. She went on to say that people will always finger for "blowing the whistle or speaking the truth," be it in love, life, or at work. She said, "But what a good price to pay."
The movie is a standalone action adventure and not a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj's cinematic universe (LCU), which includes Karthi starrer 'Kaithi,' Kamal Haasan's 'Vikram,' and Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo.'

Shruti, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, shared that she received brutal remarks after she went candid about the cosmetic procedures. The actress stated that she received comments like "Oh, yeh toh plastic surgery ki dukaan hai (she is full of plastic surgery)."Expressing if such comments bother her, the actress added, "But I know what and how much I have done, and how much more others have. That’s the price you pay for honesty. It is okay. And I never promote it. This is my choice."

Shruti Haasan's latest release 'Coolie' starring Rajinikanth, is running successfully in theaters. The film has raked in over Rs 200 crore at the box office. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial also stars Nagarjuna, Upendra Rao, Sathyaraj, and Soubin Shahir. Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde have cameos in the movie.
