Directed by Oni Sen of Asur fame, Safed Sagar will chronicle the IAF's 47-day historic operation to flush out Pakistani forces from Indian positions along the Line of Control. The show will highlight the bravery and strategic brilliance of the Indian Armed Forces, showcasing precision airstrikes and collaborative efforts between the IAF and Indian Army.

Sidharth, predominantly a Tamil and Telugu actor, has been selectively working in Hindi projects. His recent Hindi endeavors include digital shows Escaype Live and Leila. Although his primary focus remains on southern cinema, he has been exploring opportunities in Hindi. Notably, his last few releases were Indian 2 and Miss You, both in Tamil. Sidharth's sporadic yet impactful presence in Hindi projects has piqued the interest of audiences, who eagerly await his next move in the language.

Abhay is said to be seen next with Shah Rukh Khan in his next titled The King.

Not much is known about their respective characters at the moment. The shooting for the series has already begun.

The operation, code-named "Safed Sagar," was launched on May 26, 1999, and involved a series of precision airstrikes utilizing a formidable arsenal of fighter jets, attack helicopters, and unmanned aerial vehicles. The strategic objective was to dislodge enemy forces from their entrenched positions in the high-altitude terrain.
