Sidharth Malhotra pays a tribute to Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra on his 21st death anniversary

Today Sidharth Malhotra took to social media to pay due respect to Kargil war hero, Captain Vikram Batra on his 21^st death anniversary. Putting up a video of the brave soldier , the actor wrote in his tweet, “Salute to the Indian army for their undying service to the nation and To our Kargil hero #VikramBatra who laid down his life today, 21 years ago.” See posts here:


The video features a picture of the Captain and reads, “The soldier who left no stone unturned, To display an act of unparalleled COURAGE Leading at the FRONTLINES ARMED WITH HIS VALOUR AND PRIDE LIVES ON IN THE HEART OF EVERY INDIAN Remembering captain Vikram Batra (PVC)”
Earlier, the ‘Student Of The Year’ fame had also tweeted mourning the loss of martyred soldiers in the Indo-China face-off at the Galwan Valley of Ladakh.He wrote, “ Mourning the death of our brave hearts martyred on our borders, we are forever indebted to them for their ultimate sacrifice, salute to them and my condolences to their family #IndianArmy #GalwanValley #JaiHind”

On the film front, Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up to appear next in Vishnuvarshan’s directorial ‘Shershaah’ opposite his rumoured beau, Kiara Advani. The movie is set on the life story of the Kargil war hero, Captain Vikram Batra who was awarded Param Vir Chakra for his bravery.
