Sidharth Malhotra welcomes baby girl; 'SOTY' fans welcome him to the 'girl club' with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan

Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra made their Bollywood debut with 'Student of the Year' in 2012, a high-school romance produced by Karan Johar. More than a decade later, all three have become successful stars, and now, share another thing in common - they are all parents to baby girls.



Sidharth on Monday, officially joined the "girl dad" club when news broke that his wife, Kiara Advani gave birth to the baby girl. A note stated that both mother and baby are healthy and doing well. Fans of the hit movie Student of the Year couldn’t help but draw parallels, pointing out that all three leads are now proud parents to daughters.




Alia Bhatt was the first 'SOTY' star to embrace parenthood when she tied the knot with Ranbir Kapoor, in a private ceremony in April 2022. The couple fell in love while filming 'Brahmastra' and soon became one of Bollywood’s most loved pairs. After years of dating, the couple wed in 2022 and welcomed their first child, daughter Raha Kapoor on November 6, 2022.



Varun was the next to embrace parenthood with wife Natasha. The couple, who first met in the sixth grade and were close friends for years before their friendship blossomed into love. After nearly a decade together, they got married in January 2021. Their happiness grew even more when they welcomed their daughter, Lara, on June 3, 2024.



On the work front, all three have had successful careers. Alia has a long list of films, including Love and War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the spy film Alpha. Varun is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari', while Sid is all set to appear next in the romantic comedy 'Param Sundari'.
