But take a closer look and you will realise that the actress doesn't stick to any one particular weave; she keeps mixing it up between kanjeevaram, silks, and cotton. Last year, Vidya Balan wished her fans on Navratri posing in a classic handwoven Kanjeevaram silk saree. She finished the look with gold earrings, kadas, and a statement necklace. ''Happy Navratri ... Happy #GoddessPower time '', she captioned the post. Speaking about her overall look, she went for red sindoor, bold red lips, and a green bindi. Her neat bun was adorned with a gajra.

Vidya Balan is an avid supporter of local designers. This saree was gifted to her by one. The monochrome saree was adorned with floral motifs. The high neck blouse she wore with it was sleeveless and added to the elegance of the look. She rounded it off with an oxidised statement neckpiece and a kada.

Vidya went for a chic and smart look in a black handloom saree that featured a thin red border. The saree came with a red pocket that was stitched onto it. It also featured colourful patches and a thin black cloth belt. The actress finished the look with silver earrings, a thick kada, and a statement ring. She went for poker-straight hair, subtle makeup with black kohl, and nude lipstick to complete the look.

To promote her previous film, 'Sherni', the actress wore a saree with the roaring image of a tigress imprinted on it. She donned the printed multi-coloured saree that featured tiger stripes, lotuses, and other abstract designs, with a simple blouse. Her hair was styled in a neat bun. Speaking about her makeup, she went for well-defined brows, eyeliner, and dark eyeshadow. She accessorised her look with gold earrings.
