This year's winner for Best Actor at the Academy Awards, Eddie Redmayne, will be playing a woman in the role of the real-life Danish Artist Lili Elbe, in the upcoming film 'The Danish Girl'.
Redmayne, naturally, is not the first actor to do this. From the unforgettable potrayal of Robin Williams as Mrs Doubtfire, who inspired our very own Kamal Haasan to act as the benevolent nanny in Avvai Shanmughi, to Raghava Lawrence, who is all set to play a woman in his upcoming film Kanchana 2, there are plenty of actors who've donned the dress — from a sexy sari to a short skirt.
