Sonali Bendre reacts to former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar's old love proposal: 'Kidnap Kar Lunga'

Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar's past admiration for Sonali Bendre has sparked a response from the actress herself. In an old interview, Akhtar had expressed his fondness for Bendre and even jokingly mentioned proposing marriage to her. Shoaib Akhtar also humorously declared that if Sonali Bendre rejected his proposal, he would kidnap her. This playful statement from the Pakistani cricket legend caught the attention of Indian fans.

In a recent episode of Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast, the host brought attention to Sonali Bendre’s popularity in Pakistan. However, Bendre responded to the words and Shoaib Akhtar’s purported proposal by expressing uncertainty about its realism. Bendre said she doesn't know how true this is, even in those times there used to be fake news.

Mishra also mentioned former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina's candid admission of his admiration for the actress during the podcast. The host revealed that in an interview, Raina had openly expressed his affection for her and began blushing the moment her name was mentioned.
