star Sonam Kapoor who was last seen playing a lesbian character in 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga' has recently opened up on the role and said that she wasn’t worried about negativity over the role. In the film, Sonam was playing the character of Sweety Chaudhary, opposite father Anil Kapoor who plays her on-screen dad. The film marked the first time the father-daughter duo appeared together on-screen. Recently at an event when Sonam was questioned on how she feels when people are using her film to come out to their parents, the actress said that even if the film changed the life of just one person, that is enough for her. She made a statement that she wasn’t afraid of any backlash for playing a lesbian mainstream character and have been a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. On the work front, Sonam will be next seen in the romantic comedy 'The Zoya Factor
' opposite Dulquer Salmaan. The film is directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Pooja Shetty Deora.
