Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming film 'Sonchiriya' which revolves around a group of dacoits from the land of Chambal seems to have run into legal trouble.
The film which features
Sushant Singh Rajput,
Bhumi Pednekar,
Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and
Ashutosh Rana in prominent roles in the film, saw a good response when the trailer of the film was released by the makers.
As per reports, the people of Chambal have raised an objection to how the makers have shown their city in the film. The people of Chambal feel that the film doesn't portray the city in the way it is and therefore they have sent a legal notice to the makers.
'Sonchiriya' which is slated to release on March 1 is set in the '70s showcasing a small town ruled and controlled by a group of dacoits.
