Although he's trying to break the mold with thrillers like Freddy and Dhamaka, his rom-com image still dominates.

His characters usually involve lots of slow-mo fight scenes, catchy one-liners, and a larger-than-life image — but not much variation in terms of depth or arc. Audiences often know exactly what to expect when a Salman movie releases.

Typecast As: Martial arts prodigy/action hero
Tiger is known for his physical prowess, stunts, and dance. However, from Baaghi to Heropanti 2, his roles follow a very similar pattern: high-octane action with little scope for nuanced acting. Audiences rarely get to see him in emotionally charged or layered roles.

Typecast As: The goofy, hyper-energetic lover boy
While Varun has shown glimpses of brilliance in October and Badlapur, most of his roles fall into the goofy-yet-lovable romantic hero mold (Main Tera Hero, Coolie No.1, JugJugg Jeeyo). Audiences have been waiting for him to consistently take up more layered characters.
