Sujoy Ghosh gives a hilarious reply to a Twitter troll who criticized his film ‘Aladin’

Sujoy Ghosh gave the most hilarious response to a social media user who tried to troll him with regards to his not-so-popular directorial ‘Aladin’. After watching Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’, Sujoy tweeted, “Finally saw tenet. did not understand anything.” Taking a dig at the filmmaker, a Twitter user replied to Sujoy Ghosh, “Even I didn't understand Aladin.” Joining the joke, Sujoy Ghosh poked fun at his own movie and replied, “Lies. i have a list of all the 31 people who saw aladin. your name is not in the list. i’ll add?”

‘Aladin’ featured Riteish Deshmukh as the lead while Jacqueline Fernandez marked her debut in Bollywood with this movie. The narrative featured Amitabh Bachchan as a genie while Sanjay Dutt essayed the antagonist. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, ‘Aladin’ hit the screens in 2009. While ‘Aladin’ didn’t grab much attention, Sujoy Ghosh went on to entertain fans with hits like ‘Kahaani’ (2012) and ‘Badla’ (2019).

Currently, Sujoy Ghosh is producing Sonam Kapoor starrer crime thriller. Directed by Shome Makhija, the film also features Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli and Lilette Dubey.
