Sushmita Sen's daughter Renee Sen on making her big screen debut: 'Very soon, this has been my dream since childhood'
Sushmita Sen’s daughter Renee Sen, who recently made her debut as an in ‘Bad Newz’, recently opened up about making her debut in Bollywood.
During a conversation with Instant Bollywood, Renee Sen was asked about when she would be seen on the big screen. To which, she responded, “Very soon I hope because I am doing auditions and this has been my dream since childhood that I am on the 70mm, I am doing good work. So I am trying and I hope it happens soon. It's a very exciting time because different stories are coming and I want to be a part of a good story and a good character.”
Recently, Renee Sen made her debut as an assistant director in Vicky Kaushal's latest film ‘Bad Newz’. She revealed that she gained invaluable experience as an intern assistant director (AD).
When the film was released in theatres, Renee shared a social media post detailing her enlightening experience while working on the movie. She expressed her excitement and gratitude for the chance. She emphasized the real-world knowledge and experience she acquired, which she said was just as valuable as or even more valuable than going to film school.
In the caption, Renee wrote, "Working on 'Bad Newz' has been nothing short of gratifying. It was as good as going to film school or maybe better. Our wonderful crew has taught me so much, and I've made friends for life. I'm so grateful to our director, Anand Tiwari! Thank you for this opportunity, and I look forward to you directing me someday. Special mention to Reshma Shetty Ma'am for making this happen. We did it, team! Cheers to the best Bad Newz.”
Directed by Anand Tiwari and helmed by Karan Johar, the rom-com film 'Bad Newz' was released in theatres across the country on July 19.
