Taapsee Pannu reached out to her 14.9 million followers on Instagram to share a picture of her oh-so stunning look for the Filmfare award ceremony held in Assam. The actress wore a black body-hugging dress, with a flowy, beautifully printed cape, resembling wings of a butterfly. Her winged eyeliner and long tassel earrings perfectly complemented the ensemble. This was followed by her being labelled as ‘the female Ayushmann Khurrana’ by film producer Tanuj Garg, who tweeted, “Congrats to the powerhouse @taapsee, humaare #Bollywood ki female Ayushmann Khurrana.” The actress was quick to address that comment with: “What about calling me bollywood ki pehli Taapsee Pannu?” Later, Tanuj responded: “Woh toh ho hi! Inimitable, singular, distinctive! (sic).”Soon, the actress will be seen in the upcoming drama film ‘Thappad’. This Anubhav Sinha directorial is slated to release on February 28.
