For
Tamannaah Bhatia, jewellery isnāt just an accessory ā itās a form of self-expression, a reflection of mood, and a connection to her roots. Whether sheās turning heads on the red carpet, stepping out for a casual day, or slipping into a role on screen, her jewels are always a part of the story. āIāve always felt that the right kind of jewellery can definitely add so much more glamour to any outfit,ā she says, adding, āIt could be a casual outfit, a red carpet event, or a festive occasion, but the jewellery you wear always impacts the way your outfit is interpreted. For me, itās been a very integral part of styling and getting ready.ā
That passion, Tamannaah shares, runs in the family. āFine jewellery has also been a part of my family; it's been my fatherās business. And right now, Iām creating so much of my own fine jewellery, and I love wearing the pieces I design and make. It really helps me create the right kind of looks for the kind of clothes I wear. Since I have to wear so many different kinds of things, I always need that right kind of variety to be able to express myself differently," she explains. For the
Jailer and
Aranmanai 4 actor, jewellery is also deeply emotional ā an extension of who she is in that moment.
āWhat draws me to jewellery is that it makes it so much easier for me to express myself. Is it a casual day? Is it a glamorous day? Is it a day I feel minimalistic or maximalistic? It always says something about me.ā
Tamannaahās love for design feels more personal than ever. āAll the fine jewellery Iām currently making for myself really helps me embody different kinds of looks effortlessly and keeps my glamour quotient high. Even on days when Iām dressed in track pants, I still want to look completely turned out and for that, I always need my jewels. I love putting my earrings onto my necklaces, and these are some of the things Iāve created as part of my collection," she concludes.
