Tamannaah Bhatia who is known for movies like 'Baahubali', 'Odela 2' and many more also gets a lot of love for her looks and songs like 'Aaj Ki Raat'. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about beauty standards in the industry. She also opened up on how celebrities are scrutinised so much because they are in the public light. Moreover, Tamannaah revealed why celebs don't talk about their surgeries or procedures openly.
In a recent conversation with The Lallantop, the actress reflected on the scrutiny public figures face and the ease with which they are targeted online due to their constant visibility in the media. “People need to understand that it is very easy to talk about people who are in the media glare,” she explained. “Because you know about their lives, there are so many people whose lives you don’t know anything about, and you will never know them either. In baton ke baare mein hum bas charcha kar sakte hain. Isse hum kahin pahuchte nahi hain. I don’t know how conclusive they are."
Tamannaah also touched upon why many celebrities prefer to remain silent when it comes to their personal lives. According to her, it’s often a response to the fear of being judged. “There is a lot of judgment on people who are in films. Wo shayad comfortable nahi hain apne life ke baare mein share karne ke liye,” she said.
Acknowledging changing attitudes among the younger generation, she praised Gen-Z’s openness, especially when it comes to topics that were once considered taboo, like cosmetic enhancements. “Gen-Z kids are quite open about it. Jo bhi process karate hain, they are open about it. Koi bhi judgment ke through guzarna nahi chahta. Wo kuch kahenge toh unpe ungliyan uthengi,” she noted.
Reflecting on public reactions to her appearance during the release of Kaavaalaa and Aaj Ki Raat, Tamannaah shared how audiences interpreted her physical transformation. “It was during that phase of Kaavaalaa and Aaj Ki Raat that people thought I was a bigger body size. But according to me, I was very slender,” she said, clarifying misconceptions about her body image.
On work front, Tamannaah will be seen next in 'Vvan: Force Of The Forest' with Sidharth Malhotra. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release in May 2026. She's reportedly teaming up with Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt for an upcoming untitled project and she’ll also be seen in a web series titled 'Daring Partners', co-starring Diana Penty.
