Dhanush starrer romantic drama 'Tere Ishk Mein' was one of the films this year which did really well. It further stated that this year intense, romantic movies have done well at the box office, 'Saiyaara', 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat' followed by 'Tere Ishk Mein'. The Aanand L Rai directorial made Rs 116.71 crore net in India while the worldwide box office was Rs 161.96 crore according to Sacnilk. But for those who missed watching this film in theatres, here are the details for the OTT release.
'Tere Ishk Mein' will start streaming on Netflix from January 23, 2026. The film delves into complex themes such as emotional dependency, ego-driven conflict, manipulation, and the lingering wounds left behind by unresolved relationships.
Dhanush essays the role of Flight Lieutenant Shankar Gurukka, while Kriti Sanon portrays Mukti Beniwal. The film also as an ensemble supporting cast, including Prakash Raj as Raghav Gurukkal, Tota Roy Chowdhury as Yashwant Beniwal, Priyanshu Painyuli as Ved, Paramvir Singh Cheema as Jasjeet Singh Shergill, Chittaranjan Tripathy as Professor Mathur, Jaya Bhattacharya as a professor, Vineet Kumar Singh as V. Shekhawat, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub as Murari, Sushil Dahiya as an inspector, and Maahir Mohiuddin as Rana.
In a recent interview after the film's release, Kriti had addressed to some bit of criticism which her character Mukti got as many called the film a 'toxic' love story.
When asked if she has read the opinions around the film, she said during a chat with Hindustan Times, "I'm obsessed. I'm always reading what people are saying. not just critics. I love debating: that's the point of art. Not everyone sees a painting the same way, and the same goes for cinema. You connect with something because of your experiences, because you've known someone like Shankar or Mukti. TIM is interesting because it shows toxic love, but the girl also calls out the toxicity."
