The teaser starts with a wedding ceremony where Kriti Sanon’s character, Mukti, is applying haldi. Dhanush’s character, Shankar, arrives looking upset. He sprinkles Ganga jal on Mukti and says, "Bhagwan kare tujhe bhi Shankar jaisa beta ho, tab tum sajhoge ki jo aashiq pyaar mein mar jaate hai vo bhi kisi ke bete hote hai”.
