Today, the OTT giant, Amazon Prime Video surprised its subscribers by dropping a fun promotional reel on their official Instagram handle, tagging Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is now streaming on this OTT platform allowing audiences who missed it in cinemas to experience the latest chapter in the production house's horror comedy universe.
'Thamma' now joins the rank of previous editions from the universe like 'Stree', 'Stree 2,' 'Bhediya' and 'Munjya'.

From December 16, 2025, 'Thamma,'will begin streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. A perfect addition to your holday watchlist, the film blends supernatural battles with signature humour from the production house.

The film marked an unconventional release on a Tuesday with opening collections amounting to Rs. 24 crore across Hindi and Telugu languages. Overall, the film minted worldwide collections of Rs. 187.59 crore and a domestic net collection of about Rs. 134.78 crore, according to Sacnilk.

'Thamma' has been directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, written by Niren Bhatt, Arun Fulara and Suresh Mathew. The film features Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan. Paresh Rawal, Faisal Malik star in pivotal roles with special appearances by Varun Dhawan as Bhediya and Abhishek Banerjee as Jana from the 'Stree' films. The film also features special dance numbers strring Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora.
