The Archies: Zoya Akhtar unveils Suhana Khan's nickname, praises her exceptional talent and singing abilities

Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is all set to make her acting debut in an OTT film called 'The Archies,' directed by Zoya Akhtar. While Suhana hasn't appeared in any movies yet, there is a lot of excitement surrounding her film debut.

In a recent interview, Zoya Akhtar, the director, had high praise for Suhana. When asked if Suhana would be successful in winning over the audience, Zoya said to Pinkvilla that Suhana is exceptionally talented and full of energy. He believes she will handle things effortlessly. Additionally, Zoya shared a lesser-known aspect of Suhana's abilities, mentioning that she has a hidden talent for singing, and also mentioned that Suhana goes by the nickname 'Su.'


In a previous conversation with Film Companion, Zoya Akhtar discussed how she has prepared the young actors making their debut in 'The Archies' to handle discussions about nepotism. Besides Suhana, the film also introduces Khushi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. Zoya emphasized that everyone grows up wanting to follow their dreams and that it's natural for children to be inspired by their parents.


Suhana Khan herself admitted in an earlier interview with India Today that she felt overwhelmed on her first day on set. She described the chaos of a film set with all the people, lights, and makeup, making her feel insignificant. However, she also mentioned feeling a sense of responsibility to contribute to Zoya Akhtar's vision. 'The Archies' is set to premiere on the leading OTT platform on December 7.
