This actress contributed donated Rs 1 lakh to Aamir Khan's foundation

Kangana Ranaut has often been vocal about causes close to her heart, however she still took people by surprise when she contributed to a cause that nothing to do with films. The actress has reportedly donated a lakh to Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao's Paani Foundation under its Jalmitra campaign. A fact that came to light when her sister, Rangoli Chandel tweeted about it.

She posted: "Kangana donated 1 lakh and I donated 1 thousand to jalmitra.org please donate whatever you can to help our farmers, it’s not charity, we have been unfair to them for way too long." She also added: "India got independence but still cruel British laws and policies weren’t changed to favour our farmers, we eat because of them, on this earth day let’s show our gratitude to Dhartiputras our dear farmers."
Kangana had also contributed to the flood-affected in Kerala, last year.
