’ finally unveiled the powerful look of Ranbir Kapoor who plays the character named ‘Shiva’ in the movie.

While the intriguing

motion poster

has been receiving positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan too reacted to the powerful look of his future son-in-law.

Expressing her thrill, Soni commented, ‘omg’, followed by several hearts and fire emojis.

The motion poster opens with Ranbir’s voice claiming that something is happening in the world that is beyond the imagination of humankind. Alia’s voice is then heard questioning him why he is the only one who can sense all this. The video then gives us a glimpse of Ranbir’s mystical powers. At the end of the video, Ranbir is seen holding a VFX-enhanced trishul in his hand, representing the new-age Shiva.



This is the first time Ranbir and Alia will be sharing the screen space in the film. Apart from them, the fantasy drama will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in key roles. The film will hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.



On the personal front, Ranbir and Alia have been dating for a long time now. Reports are rife that the couples will be tying the knot next year. However, there has been no official confirmation about the same.
