Sonali was diagnosed with
cancer
in 2018 and the actress had taken to her Twitter handle to share the news with her fans and friends. She has been receiving treatment from a hospital in New York. Right through her treatment, she has been positive and calm. She has also set an example for others fighting the deadly disease to follow.
She is currently doing well and is back in India with her husband and son.
