Throwback: When Aishwarya Rai said that dignity is 'extremely precious' to her; 'The way I have been brought up.....'

Aishwarya Rai is not only a powerful actress, but also one of the most dignified women in the industry. In an old interaction with Simi Garewal on her show, Aishwarya, who was much younger at that time, opened up on the industry and how it constantly puts you to test.


She said, "You constantly encounter situations challenges and your dignity and strength lie in embracing them and moving forth. And dignity is extremely precious to me the way I have been brought up and that's something I do hold dear to me."

She added, "There's greater strength in silence, Believe you me, I Know it takes incredible strength to be silent it's very easy to scream off the rooftop, it's very easy to put out stories, it's very easy to give out all those interviews where you just give vent and packer- packer or its very very easy to plant stories or have sources speak for you. It's tough not to do it."

On the other hand, the mother-daughter duo of Aishwarya Rai and Aardhya Bachchan is known for their adorable and unbreakable bond. Whenever there is an event, a festival, or any gathering, the two seem inseparable. Recently, at an award function, once again their pure love made hearts melt.

They walked together and posed for the camera before entering the event. On the red carpet, mommy dearest Aishwarya Rai was seen kissing Aaradhya and then holding her hand as the two stopped for pictures.



Later in the evening, Aishwarya was honored with an award for her work in ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2.’ As she walked up to the stage to receive her award, proud and elated daughter Aardhya turned photographer for her mother. She filmed her mom and cheered for her, and the moment was simply all things endearing.

They both were also seen catching up with Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram. In a photo that went viral, Aaradhya was seen chatting with Vikram.


While Aishwarya and Aradhaya were enjoying this outing at a Dubai event, Abhishek Bachchan decided to give the function a miss. The timing of the outing is amid the reports that state not all is good in Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan’s paradise. The couple has been married for over 17 years now but the separation rumors surrounding their relationship have been made the news for quite some time. It all started when Aishwarya was seen on the red carpet without Abhishek Bachchan. At the Ambani wedding also they made separate entries, which only fueled the ongoing reports.

Several other incidents pointed to trouble in the paradise. For instance, when Abhishek Bachchan liked a divorce post, adding to the speculation. However, despite all reports, neither Aish or Abhishek has spoken a word about it.
