Throwback: When Saif Ali Khan borrowed money from ex-wife Amrita Singh for a shoot

, which involves several ups and downs. Back in 1999, when Saif was still going strong with Amrita Singh, the couple had made an appearance on a popular chat show. Spilling the beans on the initial days of their relationship, Amrita Singh had shared how once Saif spent two days at my home and when he had to go for a shooting, he asked her for Rs 100 because he had no money.

Amrita Singh went on to narrate how she offered her car to Saif but the actor stated that he didn’t need on because a production car was waiting for him outside. Amrita Singh added that she insisted Saif to take her car, so that he would at least come back to return it as she really wanted to see him again. Saif and Amrita tied the knot in 1991 and parted ways in 2004. The couple have two kids - Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Saif Ali Khan went on to tie the knot with Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012 and this year the couple welcomed a second son, after Taimur Ali Khan was born in 2016.
