Tiger had come on board for films like Ganapath for Rs. 35 crores and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan for Rs. 45 crore. He had also signed the contract for Karan Johar’s Screw Dheela for Rs. 35 crores.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, buzz is that Tiger who was initially on the high rise prior to the pandemic has certainly lost his audience post-pandemic times. Hence, paying a huge sum as upfront fees to Tiger didn't make sense to many producers.

Thus, the actor has brought down his acting fees to Rs. 25 crores for Jackky and Vashu Bhagnani’s multi-starrer. Akshay Kumar and Ali Abbas Zafar too have reduced their fees. “The process of him signing the films has slowed down because most of the producers are not in sync with the amount that he is demanding."

Reportedly, some other producers too, who were is talks with Shroff are negotiating on his price. The same trade source also feel it’s a short term thing and one hit film will again bring him on the map. Apparently it’s not just Tiger but the entire industry is going through a lull phase.
