Vidyut Jammwal and Nandita Mahtani are the newest couple in town. The duo left everyone surprised after they announced their engagement on social media on September 13. The actor and his fashion designer ladylove visited the Taj Mahal to celebrate their love and the biggest development in their relationship. Before making it official, Nandita was in a ‘rocky relationship’ with Dino Morea while Vidyut was seeing Mona Singh. The fashion designer fell in love with Vidyut five months ago. When Vidyut talked about his lady love
Last year, while promoting his film ‘Khuda Haafiz’, Vidyut spilled the beans for the first time and revealed that he is dating someone. The actor appeared on Michael Jai White’s show and made the revelation. He had said, “I’ve just started seeing this girl. By the way, you (Michael) are the first person I am saying it to. I have just started seeing somebody. I really like this girl and before you get to know through other sources, I think Michael has inspired me to say it.”

When Vidyut shared Nandita’s picture
Vidyut and Nandita first sparked relationship rumours in January this year. The actor had dropped a picture of Nandita’s on his Instagram handle and that post raised several eyebrows. He had written, “Conquered ⚡️��”. The picture featured his fashion designer girlfriend indulging in rock-climbing.

Cheering for love
In July this year, Vidyut announced that he will be producing a film. He launched his own production house, ‘Action Hero Films’. Calling it a ‘new beginning’, Vidyut had posted a happy picture on Instagram. Nandita had reposted the same on her handle and congratulated her beau. She had written, “Congratulations V! Success, love & good luck to you and team @actionherofilms ��❤️��”.

The proposal
Vidyut and Nandita exchanged rings on September 1. But the duo made their engagement official on social media on September 13. He proposed to Nandita in ‘Commando’ style and shared two pictures from their precious moment. In the first picture, they were seen rappelling down a 150m wall in an army camp while the second click showed them striking a pose near the Taj Mahal. Sharing the good news with his fans, Vidyut wrote, “Did it the COMMANDO way�� 01/09/21” On the other hand, Nandita wrote, “Couldn’t keep him hanging any longer…said yes!!1-9-21����♀️��”

B-town friends celebrate their love
Soon after Vidyut and Nandita made their relationship official, Bollywood celebs were seen congratulating the couple. Neha Dhupia, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Karisma Kapoor, Sara Tendulkar, Dia Mirza, Sanjay Kapoor, Ananya Panday and several others dropped beautiful wishes on their posts. Bhavana Panday and Sussanne Khan were seen celebrating the special occasion with Nandita as they had a mini-reunion.
