Times when Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan indirectly spoke about their relationship with each other

Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan were rumoured to be dating each other for a while, post which they broke up. However, at this present day, the duo continue to remain good friends. Kartik also attended Sara's Diwali party this year. While both, Sara and Kartik have always remain tight-lipped on the speculations about thier relationship! On 'Koffee With Karan 8', Karan straight away popped a question about Kartik and Sara yet again gave an answer without taking any name. , here's recalling the times when they indirectly spoke about each other and that hinted at their relationship

When Sara and Ananya Panday appeared on season 8 of 'Koffee With Karan', Karan directly just asked them, that you both have an ex-boyfriend in common. He was hinting at Kartik Aaryan. Later, Karan asked Sara if it's easy to be friends with one's ex, like she is with Kartik. Responding to this, she had said, "I don’t want to put it like that, ‘Yeah it’s easy’ because then it comes across as frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It does affect you, these things. You have to rise beyond that. There actually are no permanent predicaments in this business."

After Sara's comment on being friends with one's ex, Kartik has also now spoken about his exes in an interview with Film Companion. He's cryptically reacted to what Sara said. Kartik expressed, "It’s not good for someone to speak about the relationship. If things don’t work out… par jab aap saath hote ho kisike toh you don’t imagine it to be like that. You don’t imagine ke yeh khatam ho jayega."

Sara was present on Ranveer Brar's show and admitted that the year 2020 started with a break-up for her. "2020 just got progressively worse. It started with a breakup and kept getting worse. It was a very bad year and most of it is on the internet," said Sara. While she obviously didn't mention the name of the person, fans were quick to gauge that she was talking about Kartik.

During their early stage of romance perhaps, a few pictures of Kartik and Sara had gone viral on the internet. Later, Kartik had reacted to these pictures and said in an interview that he's just surprised that only one or two pictures went viral. Because they were working together on something which hasn't been announced yet. Later, it was known that the duo was working together on 'Love Aaj Kal' and that's probably when they began dating.
