Why it is so difficult for trolls to comprehend and digest that two people can still remain cordial will each other even after ending their romantic relationship. This trait is called ‘maturity’, something that trolls woefully lack.
Break-up between couples doesn’t mean they develop bad blood and become sworn enemies.
The fact that Padukone has gracefully moved on from a past relationship without holding any grudges against her ex-beau should be lauded and not trolled.
Troll Attack 2: “Ranveer Singh deserves better life partner”, “Deepika is playing a double game”
Shouldn’t it be Singh’s concern and decision as to who exactly should his life partner be?
Much against the wishes of trolls, a picture as harmless as this wouldn’t cause trouble in their paradise. Surely, Singh is magnanimous enough to not get affected and part ways because of it.
Troll Attack 3: “She could have posted any other picture”, “Didn’t she have a pic with Ranveer?”
Why should Padukone post any other pic? It is her account and thus her choice to pick and post the photos she wants.
It seems trolls have forgotten the empowering ‘my choice’ video done by Padukone few years back, where she laid emphasis on the freedom women deserve.
Instead of dictating what photos celebs should post on their social media profiles, trolls should mind their own business.
Troll Attack 4: She’s an attention seeking creep
Instead of disgust, comments like these evoke laughter. To say that the most followed Indian celeb of Instagram, ie Deepika Padukone, needs publicity is as doltish and unintentionally hilarious as it can get.
As per various sources, Padukone is the highest paid Hindi film actress. She doesn’t need to piggy back on any of them - Ranveer or Ranbir- to get into limelight.
Troll Attack 5: Be sympathetic towards Kerala floods
How exactly is Padukone being insensitive towards the unfortunate situation in Kerala by posting a picture on World Photography Day?
Everyone has their ways and means of dealing with a tragic situation. Who knows, Padukone might be doing something silently about it.
Had she posted something about the Kerala floods, the same haters would have called her “fake” and targeted her for seeking publicity out of public misery.
Trolls don’t need a rationale to attack. They are unreasonable.
