On Sunday, Twinkle took to Instagram Stories to share a charming glimpse from Rinke's birthday celebration. In the photo, Rinke, dressed in an elegant off-white outfit, is seen posing with her husband Sameer Saran. A birthday cake with a ‘Happy Birthday’ tag sits in front of them, adding to the intimate moment.


Twinkle penned a lovely birthday wish for her younger sister that read, “Happy birthday sister! 50 has never been so fabulous."

A Nostalgic Throwback

The next image the actress shared was a heartwarming black-and-white throwback, capturing a young Dimple Kapadia holding baby Rinke and little Twinkle in her arms. Adding a playful twist, Twinkle drew a crown over Rinke’s head and captioned the photo “Birthday girl!” with red balloon emojis, making the tribute all the more endearing.

Rinke Khanna’s Journey in Bollywood

Rinke Khanna, the youngest daughter of Bollywood legends Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, made her film debut in 1999 with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. Although the film didn’t perform well, she went on to appear in movies like Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain, Yeh Hai Jalwa, Jhankaar Beats, Chameli, and Praan Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye. Despite her efforts, Rinke’s acting career never quite took off, and she eventually stepped away from the film industry.



Rinke married businessman Sameer Saran in 2003 and has since made London her home. The couple has a daughter, Naomika Saran, who has been in the spotlight recently amid reports of her potential Bollywood debut. Rumours suggest she may star opposite Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, in a romantic comedy backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. However, an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.
