'Ulajh’ teaser out! Janhvi Kapoor takes on high-stakes world of IFS

The teaser for Janhvi Kapoor's new movie "Ulajh" has just dropped, giving us a sneak peek into the exciting world of the Indian Foreign Services (IFS) and all the political drama that comes with it. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the movie is set to hit theaters on July 5, 2024.

Janhvi Kapoor shared the teaser on social media, saying, "Get ready for a world of lies, deceit & betrayals - #Ulajh coming to theaters on July 5th."


In the teaser, Janhvi Kapoor plays Suhana, a young diplomat from a family of patriots, who gets tangled up in a dangerous personal conspiracy while working far away from home. The teaser gives us a glimpse of the risks she faces as she tries to navigate through a web of deceit, lies, and betrayal to protect her nation.

We see Suhana filming on her phone, looking at secret documents, and sneaking into a government facility. The tension builds up with a gunshot and a dark screen, showing the dangers Suhana is up against.

Suhana talks about the deadly consequences of betrayal, saying that one must either eliminate the threat or be eliminated to ensure the nation's safety.

Written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, with dialogues by Atika Chauhan, "Ulajh" promises to be a gripping thriller. Janhvi Kapoor's portrayal of Suhana in a completely new role has already got people excited.

"Ulajh" also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew in important roles, along with talented actors like Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi.
