Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John', Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', Katrina Kaif's 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani': Salman Khan's unforgettable cameos

Salman Khan has also made a mark with his unforgettable cameos in numerous films. Whether it is his latest ones in Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John', Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Again' or 2023's Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Pathaan', Salman’s charm and screen presence leave a lasting impression every time.

On the occasion of his birthday today, here's take a look at some of his most iconic cameos that have added a special touch to Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters.

2/8

Baby John

The latest addition to this list is Salman Khan's electrifying cameo as Agent Bhaijaan in Baby John. Joining Varun Dhawan in Atlee’s action-packed film, Salman delivered a thrilling climax that left audiences cheering in the theatres. Fans couldn’t stop praising his performance, calling it nothing short of ‘god level’.

3/8

Singham Again

The excitement for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again was off the charts. With Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan leading the cast and Arjun Kapoor playing the antagonist, the cop drama also saw Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff in key roles. But the real jaw-drop moment came in the final scene, when Salman Khan made a surprise entry as his iconic character Chulbul Pandey from Dabangg (2010), stepping into Singham’s cabin. Fans are now eagerly awaiting a full-fledged Rohit Shetty film where Chulbul and Singham unite on screen.

4/8

Pathaan

In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan made a highly anticipated return to films with Pathaan after a five-year break. Co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the action thriller was already generating a lot of buzz. However, the moment that truly set the screen on fire was Salman Khan’s jaw-dropping entry as Avinash Singh Rathore, aka Tiger, from YRF’s Tiger franchise. His reunion with SRK in an epic fight scene became one of the most iconic moments in Bollywood history. The magic of Karan Arjun was truly back!

5/8

Zero

Salman Khan didn’t just return for Shah Rukh Khan’s big comeback in Pathaan, but also made an appearance in SRK's last film before his hiatus, Zero directed by Aanand L. Rai. Despite the film not doing well at the box office, Salman’s cameo had the audience whistling in theaters. He joined SRK on the dance floor for the fun track Issaqbaazi, giving fans the perfect treat of their favorite duo together again.

6/8

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

One of Salman Khan’s most unforgettable cameos was in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, starring Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor. In the film, Ranbir lies to Katrina, claiming he's best friends with Salman to impress her. When Salman arrives in town, Ranbir begs him to help save face, and when he introduces him to Katrina, Salman delivers a hilarious line, “Abbe tu aise darr darr ke mila raha hai jaise meri girlfriend ko apni bata raha hai.” An absolutely epic moment!

7/8

Saawariya

Salman Khan also made a memorable appearance in Ranbir Kapoor's Bollywood debut, Saawariya. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman played the role of Sonam Kapoor's long-lost lover, Imaan Pirzada. In the film’s climax, he returns to sweep her away, leaving Ranbir’s character heartbroken.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Although a cameo, Salman Khan's role as Aman Mehra in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) is one of his most beloved. His character, the epitome of kindness and loyalty, won over hearts and left a lasting impact. Fans still believe Kajol's Anjali Sharma made a mistake by choosing Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) over Aman, who was undoubtedly the perfect match.
