Vidhu Vinod Chopra was a part of a panel discussion at Jaipur Literature Fest where he spoke his heart out about his. Reminiscing his childhood days in Kashmir, the filmmaker said, “God willing, I would make a film school in Kashmir so that the children there like me can study. My father was not very well off and I could not go to a film institute. I took 200 rupees from my brother who took up a job then. We very struggling with finances and I still remember, I would starve and eat two bananas. This is where I have come from and that’s why I really hope that I open this school in Kashmir”. Rahul Pandita also attended the discussion with Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
