Vijay Deverakonda's next to be a feel-good film directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri

There’s good news for all Vijay Deverakonda fans. Despite recently suffering a major setback with the flop of his first major Hindi film venture, Liger, Vijay is going to be back on the silver screen in a film by the acclaimed director, Gowtam Tinnanuri, who is known for his South film, Jersey, which was later made for Hindi cinema as well.


If everything goes according to plan, Vijay is all set to star in this new film with Gowtam Tinnanuri, slated to be a feel-good entertainer, backed by the well-known producer N V Prasad. This is a silver lining after the debacle of the film, Liger, which flopped at the box office despite a much hyped launch campaign. Vijay Deverakonda is currently wrapping up shooting for Khushi, with co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu.





Liger, which was touted to launch the next big superstar of Bollywood, failed to be a hit with audiences despite its crafty storyline of an MMA fighter, who struggles with a speech issue. As per reports, shooting for this new film begins in 2023.


This is also Gowtam’s next after the Hindi remake of Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, that failed to live up to expectations at the box office draw. Let’s hope that the two hit the jackpot with this new film venture.
