Recently chef Sanjay Raina had shared a video with UK Prime Minister
Rishi Sunak, wherein the Indian-origin PM was seen welcoming the chef’s 'Vijay mama (uncle)' to 10 Downing Street. Giving it a hilarious twist is Bollywood actor
Vijay Varma.
Warmly welcoming chef’s Sanjay uncle in the clip, PM
Rishi Sunak is heard saying, “Vijay mama, hi. It's Rishi, how are you? Hopefully, you come here and see me.
So when you get here, chat to your nephew, tell him to bring you to Downing Street. Take care." Reacting to the clip,
Vijay Varma tweeted, "Hello Beta ji! Congratulations on new beginnings. See u at 10 Downing Street soon."
Riding high on the success of ‘Darlings’, Vijay Varma is busy shooting with
Kareena Kapoor Khan for Sujoy Ghosh’s adaptation of ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. Speaking about shooting with Bebo, Vijay had recently told ETimes, “Kareena is a delight to be around and we both have the same nutritionist, so we kind of talk about food a lot. She came to the sets with her family and at one point Saif was there, too, so it was just a beautiful atmosphere that they had created in the resort that we were staying in. There were kids playing, there were nannies running after them, people were reading newspapers, books, food was being laid out. Every day was a feast and it was a frolick. I just loved it.”
