Virat Kohli once praised Anushka Sharma’s honest personality, and Aamir Khan agreed saying, “she’s a very wonderful person”

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are one of India’s most admired celebrity couples. One such special moment came during a past conversation between Virat Kohli and Aamir Khan, where the star cricketer spoke from the heart about the one thing he loves the most about his wife, Anushka. And to everyone’s delight, Aamir agreed with him completely.

A moment of love and honesty
In a warm chat with Aamir Khan, Virat opened up about what he truly values in Anushka. His words were full of admiration and love. “One thing that I love most about her. It's that she's super honest. That's why maybe I think I connect to her so much. Because whatever she says, it's there. Whatever is in her heart, she says it. And that's why our understanding is so good.”

Hearing Virat’s words, Aamir Khan couldn’t help but agree. The actor, who worked with Anushka in the blockbuster film ‘PK’, spoke warmly about his experience with her. “I'll agree with you on this. Anushka has got a wonderful, warm personality. I've worked with a lot of actresses. She's a very wonderful person and very honest. Like you said, she's very straightforward, very honest. And it's a pleasure to work with her.”
‘She’s not a show-off at all’
Virat didn’t stop there. He went on to share more about the little things that make Anushka special to him. His words showed how well he knows and values her personality. “She’s not a show-off at all. She has that one thing where she wants to see people around her improve. And get better. And that’s what’s happened with me. I’ve learnt almost everything in the last 3–4 years from her.”

Fast forward to 12 May 2025, Kohli shocked the cricket world by announcing his retirement from Test cricket. Known for his passion and dedication to the game, his decision came as a big surprise to fans and fellow players alike.

But it was Anushka’s emotional message that truly touched people’s hearts. While others focused on Virat’s records and achievements, she spoke about his silent strength — the battles no one saw. “They’ll talk about the records and the milestones — but I’ll remember the tears you never showed, the battles no one saw, and the unwavering love you gave this format of the game. I know how much all this took from you. After every Test series, you came back a little wiser, a little humbler — and watching you evolve through it all has been a privilege.”

Along with her message, Anushka shared a lovely photo of the two of them smiling on a cricket field. She added another beautiful line that perfectly summed up her love and pride, “My love, you’ve earned every bit of this goodbye.”
