The Last Show
, with
director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri
. We caught up with the director who was shooting with Anupam at the city's Shaukat Mahal and he shared that this film will be a tribute to Bhopal, a city he loves from the bottom of his heart.
“The movie revolves around theatre and I couldn't think of any other city besides Bhopal to shoot it in, because of the city's rich theatre culture. I have spent a lot of time in Bhopal and I love its vibe. Plus I think at a time like this, Bhopal is a much safer option to shoot,” shares Vivek. The team will mostly shoot in the old city areas of
Gohar Mahal
, Iqbal Maidan,
Taj-ul-masajid
, Bharat Bhawan, and Ravindra Bhawan etc, as Vivek feels that the charm of the city can be shown through these places only.
The movie will also see Vivek's wife, actress Pallavi Joshi, play a prominent role. Speaking about their on-set relationship, Vivek adds, "Working with Pallavi is always fun. She is an excellent actress and we are collaborating professionally after a while. So, it's exciting. On sets, we maintain a director-actor relationship and once off the sets, we don't discuss work."
This movie is being jointly produced by Anupam Kher,
Rumi Jafry, Satish Kaushik and Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri.Actors like Pallavi Joshi, Vrinda Kher, Godaan Kumar and Vardhan Puri etc are a part of the cast.
